Comprehensive Website Testing

 |
It's not Just About Downtime - It's About Availability1stWarning uses a global network of monitoring stations to test your site for availability issues that go beyond downtime. 1stWarning takes a more
comprehensive approach to monitoring. We check for the issues that can cause lack of availability to your website, even though it may be up and running.
- If your site is listed as a phishing site
- If your site has been placed on a DBL (domain block list)
- DNS hijacking
- SSL certificate validation and expiration
- Performance degradation
- Unexpected content changes
- Content matching
- Redirection to the wrong site
- And of course, downtime

Comprehensive Email Testing
 |
Email Delivery is Critical to Your BusinessFind out immediately if your email server has been block listed or is malfunctioning. Like our website monitoring, 1stWarning performs
comprehensive analysis of email servers to make sure your email is being delivered. Our monitoring stations check for the following issues:
- If your site has been placed on a block list. We monitor the major, reputable block lists that are in use by the majority of companies worldwide.
- DNS hijacking
- Reverse DNS entries. Without these, your email will be blocked or delayed.
- Open Relays. This is a simple configuration setting, that if accidently set incorrectly, will allow spammers to hijack your email servers.
- Delivery tests.
- And of course, downtime

can be changed using the calendar control on the left menu or by using the 'Timeframe' menu item. View data for test from all stations, or select a single station to see if there
is a problem with availability from a particular part of the world.
From this report, you can drill-down into the history of availability for the monitor and view the log entries for any downtime that occurred.

Performance ReportingThis report lists all the monitors for your account and the average performance of different aspects of the test in the timeframe selected. The default
timeframe is the current day, but can be changed using the calendar control on the left menu or by using the 'Timeframe' menu item. These performance metrics are:
- DNS time - how long it takes to resolve the DNS query to get the I.P. address of the service. Slow DNS times can occur due to overloaded DNS servers or DNS servers that are not in close proximity
to the visitor.
- Connection time - how long it takes to establish the initial connection to the service.
- Total test time
